If you have a Paladin you want him to main tank, since Improved Voidwalkers cause 125 threat per second, your casters would have to deal less then 220 dps to not pull aggro, which is equal to shadowbolt spam in green gear

Agreed though the point is that the voids (& main tank) will hold better due to 30% less Threat from your DPS. Retribution Aura will give even more Threat headroom (over that flat 30%) to the main tank and off-tanks to a team of Locks with a Paladin...
