Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone had an experience with 4 warlocks 1 priest, Are you able to complete dungeon grind to level up? How do you feel this comp would do in later endgame dungeons?
Thanks in advance for any input!

This has already been discussed in multiple threads. A sampling:
https://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/...ing-4-warlocks
https://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/...x-Warlock-Comp
https://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/...ll-caster-comp
It is still early enough that there are not many teams overall to cap so there really isn't a lot of data.
Some observations in those threads:
Lots of concerns with Warlock Pets holding Aggro and it does not generally appear viable with the possible exception of including a Paladin in the group giving the pets Ret Aura and the Warlocks -30% Threat. The side benefit is that, if the Warlocks do start taking aggro and getting hit, you can switch to Concentration Aura and stop all normal push-back making 3 Warlocks' DPS closer to 4 Warlocks suffering some push-back.
One approach discussed was having the Warlocks go max Soul Link build making the Warlocks so Tanky that you don't really care when they take Aggro but this has not yet been proven to cap.
My respectful recommendation would be to hedge your bets and try for full AoE with Pets Tanking as follows:
3 Warlocks+Priest+Paladin (reducing Threat on party & Retribution Aura to Voids unless Concentration Aura is needed);
If the pets end up not working out you can switch to a more standard:
PaladinTank+3Warlocks+Priest
Alternatively you could swap in a Mage but then you would only have 1 Void to Tank if you use the stam buff pet (or 2 without the stam buff pet).
This guy almost managed to do Rend solo (10 man boss) but aggro is a huge issue and mobs keep attacking the priest or warlock https://www.twitch.tv/videos/4835261...ives&sort=time
You are limited to 4 mob pulls where 1 Voidwalker can tank a single mob, since if you have to spam healing with your priest he will pull aggro and die in 50+ dungeons. In lower level dungeons you can get away with bigger pulls.
A paladin would greatly help in this case, you could easily 5 man in to the end with a pala tank and Voidwalker offtanks
A druid tank would also be a good choice since he can keep threat on 3 mobs by just spamming swipe, and he can easily pull with Faerie Fire and Taunt mobs, plus he can Hibernate Dragonkin which will help you a lot in the hardest instance.
because Swipe deals the same threat as Consecration but only on 3 targets (and it doesnt scale with gear) he is the inferior choice in lower level dungeons where you can pull multiple packs, but on boss fights you will never lose aggro since Maul is by far the best single target tanking ability, with feral talents you will hold aggro in healing gear.
Then again Soul Link warlocks are able to tank lower level mobs so that is not much of an issue.

If you have a Paladin you want him to main tank, since Improved Voidwalkers cause 125 threat per second, your casters would have to deal less then 220 dps to not pull aggro, which is equal to shadowbolt spam in green gear

I feel like most bosses could be killed by just positioning 4 SL warlocks around a room, sending your voidwalkers while you DoT the target and then just going ham with shadowbolts. Your pets will lose agro after a shadowbolt but a priest should be able to keep up with one warlock taking damage and your warlocks should do enough damage to kill the boss before it kills any of your characters.
If you watch the video of the guy trying to solo Rend, he spends a lot of time taking cleaves and not casting. Boss would have died if he had split his characters and just straight nuked from the start.
If you plan for this in advance and build a lot of high stamina/armor items (like the ironweave set) it could be quite effective. I imagine you could make a warlock more than tanky enough in dungeon gear to survive Rend's melee attacks with a single healer. Even in regular gear with 40% physical reduction and a stoneshield potion you'd probably be fine.

The problem with nuking the boss is that your priest will pull aggro, since the warlock taking damage will get interrupted and generate less threat then the priest, you need a buff like blessing of kings or a proper tank unless you want to torture yourself every time you do a dungeon.
If I were to run with 4 warlocks and a priest I would Sacrifice my pet and resummon him for 10% damage reduction, use PWS on tanking warlock and once his health drops use healing potion and Healthstone to generate as much threat before the priest starts to heal, I can see it being doable that way.
Or actually having warlocks spam searing pain will make sure that a priest cant pull aggro.

If you spread them out and nuke the boss will bounce between whichever warlock currently has the highest threat. It doesn't matter if one of them gets interrupted. In fact, it will reduce the damage you take since the boss then has to switch targets and travel to another warlock when it exceeds the interrupted warlocks threat.
A priest will never cause as much threat as a warlock spamming shadowbolt no matter how much it heals.

could maybe round robin searing pain and have him chase each lock to the far corners of the room. or just have your rotation incorporate searing pain spam on the lock furthest from the boss.
