Interesting. At first I thought you were in BRD running 4 Warriors+Shaman with Ravagers and then realized that it looks like you are running Warrior+4Shaman with Ravagers...

How do you like the Warrior+4Shaman team composition?

Do you miss getting free water from a Mage?

Also when you do your click healing how do you control which Shaman will be doing the healing?

What spec are you running on your Warrior?

Hey Nodoze thanks for stopping by!

Warrior + 4 shaman has its ups and downs but I do enjoy it a lot. This being my first time paying wow and never getting free water I do not know what I'm missing hehe

I have one shaman speced Resto and he does 90% of my healing. Currently I ave to switch to my other shamans to heal with them however I've been trying to figure out how to heal with more then one efficiently.

My warrior is prot with a little fury

Glad to hear you are enjoying it.

Currently I have 2 Healers and use VFX to remotely control 2 VuhDo setups for buffing and healing (one on each Healer). I have those same 2 VFXs mapped to each Warrior and each Healer VFXes the other Healer so I can heal from both healers from any slot. I typically drive from one lead warrior but have been periodically forcing myself to practice driving from all slots which has been forcing me to setup every character well. This should help with redundancy and PVP is for when things go south...

The one problem I have is that when I am clicking through a VFX to a healer and have a movement key pressed when my mouse leaves the VFX region the movement key stays locked down on my healer and he takes off running... I can spam IWT from the main client to get him to keep coming back (keeps doing U turns) but it is hard to get him to stop running unless I switch to that slot and put in movement keys or go back to the VFX and cancel it... At some point I may try some repeater region setups to see if I like that interaction more than clicking through a VFX.

The following is a screenshot of my current setup:

    https://i.gyazo.com/245aba6234a2da0c...0ac7c5fc7d.jpg

I made the Mana bars much easier for me to see/track (made them larger and used a more contrasting color) and the 3 extra mini-maps are so that I can see nodes for Herbalism, Mining, & Treasure Chests (from my Dwarf).

I am thinking of redoing my UI more like Quiding in his thread:

    https://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/...aman-mage-lock

If I go that route I will still try to fit in the extra mini-maps and enlarged mana bars with better contrast colors. I will also try to have one party frame which heals from either healer depending on which side of the frame/row I click on.

You could maybe have a single frame and divide it into something like 5ths giving your main healer 2 5ths and each off healer a 5th. In his UI he has lines separating portions of his bars so maybe that is something you can do also (not sure how he did that yet).

Set a recovery IWT hotkey that hits all 4 direction keys. I actually have something similar set for my general DPS hotkey since I do not want my guys doing the chicken dance when I tell them to IWT with a target that closes the distance and causes them to keep running around.

Basically what I do is, step 1, has 3 outputs. Assist Me, IWT, and E (E is forward). Step 2 is Assist Me, IWT. The movement key interrupts the auto run. For you, you could do the same basic thing as a recovery key for when this happens. Have it hit all 4 direction keys and then autofollow you or whatever. Tap it twice and your character first stops running off like a goof, and second tap runs them back to you.

I'm all for people sharing their setup and their gameplay, but I'd rather not turn this sub-forum into a "Hey, I'm streaming!" section where multiple people are bumping their own threads every day, or every other day, just to "alert" people that they're online.

There was a reason we originally created the Streaming Thread in the Movies sub-forum: for people to subscribe/follow that one thread, and then get notified when new posts are created. Unfortunately, I don't believe updates from that thread are given in real time, and therefore people are encouraged to subscribe to the Twitch channels that are listed in that thread, in order to receive those real-time updates.
Do not send me a PM if what you want to talk about isn't absolutely private.
Ask your questions on the forum where others can also benefit from the information.

    Thanks.

Please add a [Classic WoW] Tag for threads in that sub-forum.

If you do subscribe to a given thread you should get emails for those threads (unless it is setup differently than this sub-forum).
