Thread: new RAF rewards

    Default new RAF rewards

Does the new RAF reward system got anybody interested? Has me wondering if i could dump 4 of my 5 accounts and start 4 fresh new RAF accounts invited from my main account. Not sure how blizzard is about removing games from your bnet account these days so that you can add more. Is the game limit still 8 total? These rewards look really good, and then theres the free month bonuses. Anyway here's the list.

    • One Month: Rikki monkey pet
    • Two Months: A month of game time
    • Three Months: Explorer’s Dunetrekker, a two-person camel mount
    • Four Months: “Renowned Explorer” title
    • Five Months: A month of game time
    • Six Months: Stinging Sands cosmetic weapon enchantment
    • Seven Months: Renowned Explorer’s Tabard
    • Eight Months: A month of game time
    • Nine Months: Explorer’s Jungle Hopper, a two-person flying mount
    • Ten Months: Renowned Explorer’s Rucksack, the first backpack obtainable in the game
    • Eleven Months: A month of game time
    • Twelve Months: Renowned Explorer’s Attire, completing the adventurer archaeologist look

I'm considering coming back to WoW with this, the exp bonus would be nice and the free time eventually would be too. This can all be done from one bnet account correct?

Yes it can be done all on the same bnet, so the rewards come faster. I'm going to start 4 more connected to my main and that will give me all the rewards in 3 months. I also think they will expand on this every year adding an additional 12 rewards.

They still havent announced when RAF is coming out (literally said a few months), but at the moment there is a big sale for upgrading to BFA. Upgrading accounts to BFA is $20, and the complete collection including BFA is $39. There was an end date on the sale, but they seem to have removed it for whatever reason, so I dunno when it ends. I'm guessing it will end before RAF is released so we might not get to take advantage of it.

    Hi guys,

I'm waiting to dive into multiboxing as a complete noob and was here to query the same thing. I don't understand why they're adding info about RAF to a content patch? It assumes that it's being released WITH the patch, no? I've read conflicting information where WoW Classic is concerned which is what I'm interested in boxing. I'm essentially only interested in linking the other 4 accounts for game time, that is... Patch is out tomorrow so I guess we'll see.

    Kind regards,

i already have 8 accounts connected to my bnet account. i only added the last 3 because it was dirt cheap at that moment and never touched them.only starter accounts. guess i have to let them be deleted then to add 3 new ones? is that even possible?

The limit is still 8 per bnet.

Regarding removing accounts, people were buying BfA for the boost, then removing the account, if I recall correctly. I'm expecting you can remove accounts.

Am I excited? Not really. See my other post where I got all the rewards from the previous RaF, back in June.
The rewards I'm interested in are the mounts, and (to a lesser degree) the pet, and free months of subscription.
Titles, Tabards, Attire, and Cosmetic Enchants are wasted months, from my perspective. I'll need more information on the Ruksack... is it an heirloom? how many slots? etc.

To me, it feels like they are really botching the RaF transition.

It would be cool if they gave people who had leftover old-RaF-rewards credit for the months of the new system.
Any mention of that? (For the benefit of others, not me.)

Even though I have them now, it sucks that the 5 old-RaF mounts and 4 pets are now unobtanium. Any mention if those mounts and pets are available somehow? Even BMAH would be ok.

Are you saying the XP boost has been fixed to stack with heirlooms again? (Or, if not, that the XP boost is back to a large multiplier like it was a while back?) Is granting levels in the new system?

Even though I'm not excited, I'll probably do RaF at some point.
Doing my best to get motivated for the WoW Headless Horseman mount hunt of 2013... so far failing. and now in 2018, let's see about those HH mounts! [Edit: Actually got an HH mount in 2018... on separate account 6. One to go! In 2019, my last BNet accout, the main one, got the HH mount. End of an era.]

I multibox because I have no time, have a life, have a job and[/or] money and have little patience for drama and temper tantrums. -- heffner

I'm not 100% sure this is the current required method as of today, but what you had to do was ask their customer service to transfer the accounts you do not want onto another separate bnet account. They are not allowed to delete accounts unless they are just starter trial accounts, and you can delete those yourself through online support anyway. So you would instead make a throwaway bnet account and have them move the full accounts you do not want to there. If they are trial accounts that were never upgraded, you can just do it yourself easily, and if you're unsure the process tells you if it is.

If you have any trouble getting accounts deleted, try pulling the "jesus, I'm trying to give you guys more money" card. It usually does the trick.
