What's the aoe dps like on the Lock and mages?

the 55k xp/hr is just based on the 11 minute run. It looks like there was 4 more mobs at the end I didn't kill, so you could get 10,500 xp a run in 12 minutes, so 52.5k an hour. Resetting takes time which I didn't factor in. You could use your alt to reset, but I am too lazy and just run it back so I can browse forums while auto running lol. As I gain levels, the xp will go down per run, so at the time of the video it's the best I could possibly get. I am probably getting 40k an hour now with resetting included.

Awesome work. I am low level and run w/pr/mage/mage/mage, but based on this video I think I am going to drop a mage and pick up a lock

What spec are your mages and lock? Arcane and destro, or frost and affliction? Have you tried different specs and have the ability to comment about the pros and cons of each?

up until level 30 I was frost/affliction, but when I realized I can easily do these AOE pulls to 60 I made the switch to Arcane/Destro. It's doable with either, but it looks like there's a lot of benefits to switching. I only have 18 points in arcane and the rest in frost. I am working my way up to the +50% crit chance to anything frozen since I do believe that would help the DPS a ton.

I really regret running 4x warrior/priest! I'd have likely hit 60 last week with a mage based group based on my playtime

Yeah the following groups are pretty motivating when they can AoE clear like that:

Tank+Healer+2Mage+Warlock
Tank+Healer+3Mage
Healer+4Warlock
Healer+3Mage+Warlock
Healer+4Mage

There may be others but not having a max number of mobs damaged is pretty nice.

Can you share your tanking macro/rotation for warrior and builds? I run the same team but not AEing yet as I'm waiting for Hellfire (2 more levels)
