Default 5 man teams: How long in each dungeon?

Hey there, new-ish to multiboxing (first time with a 5 man team), currently running 4x warrior 1 shaman. Should be 18 tonight. For those playing horde, I'm curious what level you guys stopped grinding in rfc and continued on to WC? Did you milk it for as long as possible? Any outside quests in between?

Just trying to get an idea of what's most efficient.

My experience is, you should always milk for as long as possible as a boxer.

Couple simple reasons. You're not as flexible and able to recover from mistakes as well as semi competent 5 man groups can. You're going to make mistakes, or you're going to be playing super conservative and much slower than you need to be.

With how hit/damage scales with levels, you can tank and kill a whole lot more greens which ultimately equates to a higher rate of XP.

Currently what I am doing is, I have my full team with ravagers, as well as a more level appropriate weapon. I hot swap between the weapons based on situation. Is this pull > 4 mobs? Ravagers out! Is this =< 4 mobs? Keep the higher DPS weapons out. Since I prefer to stick around when dungeons are blue/green and do BIG pulls kiting with piercing howl, I use my ravagers a lot.

Basically, the drop off in xp isn't so bad when you are able to increase the rate of killing + size of groups you kill.

At level 18 I did a few clears of WC with my crew, it was fairly easy. There's no way in hell I would have done RFC until 18. Spend an hour getting the WC quests all set up so when you run it the first time, you have roughly 4 or so quests to turn in.

Right now my crew is level 27 (warrior/warlock/mage/rogue/shaman) -- I can't really AOE dungeons but I kill groups of 3-4 so fast it doesn't matter to me.

I did spend a while doing some of the Tarren Mill quests to take a break from dungeon grinding but starting tonight I will be doing BFD until 29 or 30, RFK from until 32, and then SM runs for the next million years.

I know a lot of people say to skip questing because collecting 150 human skulls is insane...but I enjoy the break from dungeon grinding.

Gathering 150 human skulls is insane. If every one dropped a skull it would be different haha. One of the few quests I gave up on.

Yea. After that quest chain I decided to stop questing. I'm probably going to reroll to warrior/mage/mage/warlock/priest and just yolo it to 60.
