Is /Follow disabled for Battlegrounds?

Hi,

Returning to WOW Classic. I know Battleground are not there, but I assume when they do come in they will be similar to normal WOW. Question is, is /follow disabled for Battlegrounds? if so, is there a workaround for Multiboxers or no?

Answer to this will basically decide for me whether I will do multiboxing or not since the only reason I want to do it is for a 5x Mage team in Battlegrounds
