    Default Put 2nd+ Team(s) in Inns now to start accruing bonus rested XP

    If you plan on having 2 or more teams it might be a good idea to go ahead and create the team(s) now and run them to the closest Inn to start accruing Rested XP Bonus.

    My understanding is that it takes a full 10 days to accrue the maximum bonus so even if you don't plan to use them soon it should only help.

    Even if your focus is still on your main team in 10 days you could login your 2nd+ team(s) briefly and burn though their bonus(es) and then put them back in an inn to give you the most return on your efforts.

    I plan to do that now on multiple 5 man teams that I plan to take to 35+.

    Bottom line is doing something purposefully builds effective habits with big returns over the long run...

    For my 2nd+ teams that I plan to do short sessions periodically to level up a few levels here/there and then put them back into the reasonably closest inn for the level range they are in. Having them in an inn to begin with when I login brings that goal to the forefront when I work on that team and when my bonus wears off I plan to use that as a kind of alarm to head back and start accruing a bonus again..

    Agreed that it isn't that much XP at the lower levels but every bit helps and why not leverage it?

    Yeah it has been pretty easy and efficient as so far I have 5 teams of 4Warlocks(Gnomes)+1Priest(Dwarf) which was great because it happens to be that the best races for those classes start in the same starting area. I got them out of the starting areas and to the first in (Durotar?) to start the bonus accruing. I did to where I have a Priest on each account just in case I wanted to do a 5 Shadow Priest team at some point...

    Now when I get moments when I am not going to run my main team to a dungeon for a full grinding session I instead grab one of the lower level Warlock teams and grind some till I lose +200% XP and then I put them back in the Inn (if I am close to the next level I will go ahead and finish it even without +200% and then put them in so it is easier to see they are ahead of the other teams). If I still have more time I will grab the next team and rinse/repeat...

    Now that I have my core teams mostly to level 5+ (some are 6 or 7) I think I may just focus on 2 for now and play leap frog with them to 20 (which will give me up to 8 warlocks to summon my main team (& each other) to any locations I park them at) and then focus on one team to 35+ for initial passive professions. Once I get that accomplished (at least two teams to 20+ and one of those to 35+) I will circle back and decide on leveling up more teams to 35+...

    In the meantime I put my other 3 lower level teams into StormWind at the intersection of the bank, mailbox, and auction house and have been just dumping from my mains to them things that I am not 100% sure I want to vendor... So far I have at least:

    • - 7+ Alts full of cloth (both their inventories and banks) that I plan to use to help power level Tailoring on my level 35 craters and/or bandaging on my PVP mains (I may be on my 8th or 9th alt as I kinda lost track);
    • - 2+ Alts full of Ores/gems/etc from my miner (I may needing to start a 4th alt soon) that I plan to use for Engineering and Blacksmithing for my PVP mains;
    • - 1+ Alts full of herbs from my Herbalist (I may be needing to start a 3rd alt soon) that I may use to power level Alchemy;
    • - 1 Alt filling up on Disenchanting mats (I don't think I have needed to start a 2nd one yet)
    • - 2+ Alts with gear for my leveling teams (wands/cloth-caster-gear/shadow-gear/etc). Instead of just disenchanting/vendoring them now I plan to use them to speed my crafter-alt's trek to 20 and then to 35 and then disenchant/vendor them as I outgrow them.

    Note that so far I have only leveled up one tailor some to initially craft full sets of linen bags for all 5 main team and then a wool replacement set once I started getting free wool. I did also sell some bags though lately I have been giving them to alts so they don't fill up as fast (often hand-me-downs from mains as I upgrade the main). I have also been throwing random dropped bags to alts to increase capacities.

    6 teams total so far.

    My main team of 3 Warriors+2 Paladins and 5 teams of 4 Warlocks+1Priest initially for crafting, transportation, & storage but maybe also later for large scale WPVP.

    3 of those teams are essentially just holding stuff to help me power level my main team's professions at cap and/or to powerlevel my crafting alts professions when they hit 35.

    When I want a change from my main team I am periodically working on getting 2 of the Warlock teams to Level 20 so they can be used to summon and then will likely focus on taking one initial set of crafters to Level 35.

    In hindsight I should have maybe include at least 1 Mage on a team just to have one ;-) .
