That ability may be the thing for me to decide on a spell team vs a warrior cleave team (or a 4/5 shaman team). While the warrior team would be faster inside the dungeon and small rest periods, the ability to quickly sell/repair and get back I think is a much bigger time saver in the long run.
I have read that this works. You need to summon them before they leave, then the summoned character can hearth or portal...repair, sell, etc then accept the summons back.

What I am interested in knowing is the next step. Can we reset instances this way? Send a summons to a Mage that is in party...have them hearth to Org....then log out 4 toons in instance and have Mage reset instance....then log back in with 4 toons and the instance should be reset. Question is whether it can be done within the 2 minutes and if the summons persists through the Lock logging out.
