I didn't try in the stress test but what I did elsewhere was uninvite 1 slave and let them get kicked to entrance. Zone them back into instance to get a fresh one, invite other 4 and they get kicked from the old instance and zone back in to new instance. Just a 2 minute wait total without having to run. Good coffee/bio time.

Anyone know if that will be viable still?

Would love to get an answer to this question. Imagine the sh*t show of trying to reset something like BRD on Herod after they get rid of the layering. I imagine quite a few folks will be camping near the dungeon entrance, so being able to reset the dungeon without leaving it would be amazing.

In this approach when say getting kicked back to the entrance, is the entrance area safe or can you be ganked on a PVP server?

From what i've read i assumed that you get put into the beginning of a new instance without having to leave the old instance and zone into the world. That sounds like a boon, but maybe i misunderstood the information. Very few people have tested their ideas, there is a lot of hearsay and theorycrafting going on and a lot of the time it's "i haven't done it myself but he said/she said.../i've read"

Yes that is correct.. sorry what I meant was it depends how far the spirit healer is to the actual entrance of the dungeon.. like for RFC it was outside of Org so you have to run all the way back in into the Cleft of Shadows and it may have just been quicker to run back out of RFC

Here is a vid from the beta of a instance reset looks pretty tricky and annoying to do however and you need to have a friend around to help

    Good we have multiple friends in our selfs then;

Make party raid group logout char2 and jump on alt2 on that.
Go to main char1 promote alt2
    Logout Main char1+char3+char4+char5
    Reset from alt2
Login on char1,char3,char4,char5 and relog alt2 to char2.
    Leave party and reparty.
    That should work yes?

EDIT: The problem with his method being solo, he can't invite himself to a group.

Thanks for the video. It you can pull this off and end up back in a single party this does look like you do indeed end up at the start of the instance, inside the instance, without ever having to be in the outside zone subject to PVP Ganking. This should basically mean once your team is an instance it will be hard for anyone to disrupt your farming.

Regarding the specific steps, instead of "Leave party and reparty" did you mean "Leave raid and reparty"? I say that because I thought you were recommending converting to a raid earlier in your steps.

I guess this should work as long as when you leave raid everyone has time to get into the new party and don't get booted from the instance.

Great videos Dalo! Which spec do you reckon would be the best for the mages? I heard there are a lot of fire resistant mobs in classic.

    Yes leave the raid.
The use of this is you get ported to start of instance, so you should have time to reparty or atleast move back out of the instance, if this is fast enough to do, I don't see myself running out of any of the dungeons im farming.
