Leveling fsst new team members in 2019

So I am going to try some retail some more.

I have 3 half days of vacation, and no funds for boost.

Will be leveling an alliance hunter for full hunter team.
Will load up on heirlooms.


Questions.

With so many changes, what is the fastest way forward?
Do I add the new hunter to team and wipe out instances?
Is the old xp pot trick from 80 to 90 still valid where you almost complete quests then pop the pot and hand them /complete?
Do we just creat a new team and run instances,
Sadly, quest?

I tried both ways and I do tend to find questing faster, you can get a addon called autopilot its very good u just follow the guide in wow on ur screen. I used it when i leveled up a horde team of druids

I need to try this autopilot. I'm currently leveling up a team but they are able to queue for dungeons as a group and it's been easy but also on alliance we have 25% exp boost if warmode is enabled.
Kind of want to wait till 40 so my mount runs faster though.

My leveling thoughts.

20-90
use Azeroth Auto-Pilot (AAP) addon. This is just a horrible grind even full herilooms and exp pots, so boring.

For rest of the leveling, don't use AAP. It assumes you're solo and skips all the tough stuff, which multiboxers dont worry about.

90-98 The funnest leveling range.
WoD bonus areas. Get yourself a map from Google Images and hit them all. You will be level 98 and ready for Legion before you are even done with all the bonus areas. Kill any rares for exp you find on your way, but its not worth going out of your way to kill a rare.

(98)100-110 Another really fun leveling range
Legion bonus areas and invasions. You will gain 2 to 3 levels for every invasion you do. You will need to do about 2 invasions in addition to the bonus areas to hit 110. The rares not worth doing, take too long to kill but good exp.

110-120 Yet another fun range
I only log in for faction assaults for this range, after an assault you get another exp buff that lasts an hour. Using the exp buff to do the bonus areas and the next faction assault really speeds things up.

Some good ideas there, thanks. Will download aap and creat a new team and see how long the time takes before Im tempted to shave my teeth and keep going or cave and get a boost

This no longer works. He uses a monk with exp turned off and blizzard broke that in 8.2

It will take about 400 hours to level that way now compared to the 20 hours questing.

Has nothing to do with XP off or on

Tried out Azeroth Auto Pilot last night, was pleasantly surprised - it made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable.
