    Default Command to stop following?

I just started 5 boxing and I'm learning how to set up my macros. First problem I noticed is that none of my cast macros work until my 4 other characters have caught up to me because the follow will interrupt the spell. I can get around this by just tapping a movement key before the cast macro but it would be nice if I could integrate the follow cancel into the casting commands. Is there a way to do this?

There is no command to stop following other than turning or moving under your own power.

So what do most people do then? Spam the cast macro until everyone's casting or press a movement key?

I have a turn key bound on my 4th/ 5th mouse button.

So I rush in with my quicker moving cat druid start attacking, at that point I push the turn button on my mouse, the casters stop following. This is the moment I start spamming cast spell buttons. This way I dont lose DPS on lag / travel time (since my druid is faster outdoors in dps mode).

It's really nice, certainly when I hit a mob that does some AoE stomp thing, I can stay ranged with my casters. And if I push the turn key by accident, my spriest doesnt stop flaying since it is'nt interupted by turning.

I think this is the way to go : ) Dont lose that casting time and nuke them to hell. Drop a mob every 8 seconds is just amazing for your gold income rate.

ps (I three box at the moment, druid feral, spriest, healerdruid doing wrath spam still decent DPS).

I have a a key on my xkeys bound to down arrow (I pass this to all clones)

so when I get into combat, everyone takes one step back (or I drop em off out of melee range)

useful for backing everyone up exceptthe tank (w and down arrow = evryone moves back except the tank)
