It's as complex as you want to make it. At its core, ISBoxer replicates keystrokes and mouse clicks, as does any multiboxing software, but, on top of that basic functionality, you can manage your characters and teams with it, as well.

ISBoxer still uses macros, it's just that they're just written out for you, assigned keys, and stored in the ISBoxer add-on, to make things simple.
