Default Frequent divide by zero's (after patch 2.4.1 perhaps?)

OK so i just recently started getting a bunch of divide by zero errors on alt-windows when i'm 5-boxing.

They seem to be random as to which of the alt-windows crashes, however it seems to always be an alt window and never the main. Or at least not yet.

A few things that have happened that could have caused it

    1) i just moved to a new apartment so maybe im overheating because of new placement of computer (slightly less airflow?), very unlikely
    2) I just recently switched to the setup where all 4 alt windows run from a single WoW directory. This could cause it maybe?
    3) patch 2.4.1. Havent updated addons. ONly addons the alts are using are bongos and xperl though.

I can include that memory dump thing that WoW does if ppl want to see it, but it's rather large so i didn't want to clutter up the forumz.

Here's probably how im going to troubleshoot this:

    1) update or uninstall addons
    2) clear wtf/wdb (i hate resetting hotkeys and macros =(
    3) defrag/scandisk?

if anyone more experienced with software tech support or whateverz could point me in a better direction, i would be much obliged... im not so great at this stuff!

What is your computer setup? How much memory that sort of stuff.

Xperl errored for me after patch. It never killed WOW though. There Is a new version of Xperl out btw.

    setup is:

    Alienware
    Windows XP Media center SP2
    Core2Duo 6400 @ 2.13 GHZ
4GB Memory (acting like 3.25GB though) I forget the manufacturer
    NVIDIA Geforce 7900 GT/GTO (256 MB)

I also just added a sound card just before it started crashing, it was a cheap sound blaster. Wouldn't think a sound card would start causing crashes but who knows. I'll download the latest drivers for that i guess.

If you moved you could have some loose part in the system. I'd suggest pulling out the ram, heat sinks, cpu, add in cards and putting them back in. It's easy to do and won't mess up anything else with the system. Then you could run Prime95 or something like that to stress test the system to make sure it's not your hardware.

thanks for the advice so far, peoples.

I disabled the sound on the alts, and THey stopped crashing. However i did get 1-2 crashes on the main computer. I tried disabling sound on the main also. No crashes so far. Seems that maybe the new sound card is causing crashes. I will keep posting.

Does kinda suck though... any idea why my sound card would be causing crash? I even updated the drivers... should I try buying a different sound card?
