I haven't done any instance, just questing and grinding, but again I haven't had any issues with mana or wpvp-wise. Its the closest to 5 shamans (since I'm playing alliance)

I Started second team- 1 Priest 4 warlocks, so far so good! 5 Shamans sit at level 22. (They hit pretty darn hard) and did WC yesterday at level 22, easy!

    OK thanks.

One outstanding question if whether 5 Priests can survive & DPS Dungeon Bosses down without going OOM.

Please report back if you do any dungeons at level.

This is resurfacing an old thread, but as i am still experimenting with the team that works for me.

I have kept my paladin tank, and swapped out for 4x priests.

Im currently boosting the priests and then will go from there.

The paladin armor aura and buffs for priests should compliment each other etc, and in thoery i will be AOE spec the priests while grinding and gearing up to a certain point before i respec for shadow spec.

The purpose was to have a pve capable team but with pvp range ability, i have run hybrid healers and found them actually very effective when small heals are distributed to single targets etc, plus priests can aoe heal etc.

I do have fears of squishy cloth, but this can be mitigated with pvp focus, high stamina , armor aura + extra healing/CC

I will see how it goes, i am trying to avoid the shamans as i am just tbh bored of them from vanilla and tbc days.

So far the only classes i feel are explorable for me personally right now is: druids, priests, paladins.

I would love to see videos of Paladin Tank+4Priests running dungeons at cap and see how things go. It would be great to see if 4 shadow priests with vampric healing can keep the paladin up.

this would be an interesting factor, it’s 100% viable team to end dungeons.

however there are some issues in PvP with IWT facing targets on priests. Flay doesn’t target mobs unless within 90 degree angle. So this is my only issue, has anyone done priests and solved this issue for targeting moving objects outside of 90 angle?

I was hoping like locks health funnel, they face target at any angle, but they do not!

priests have a lot to offer and strong dps in the field, but it’s critical I have good crowd control to manage a gank.

besides setting up binds to turn inwards, and/or spin and spam mind flay “ you must be facing your target” I can’t see how else I can IWT with enemies say with a gank or fear.

    any tips?

Sorry I don't know of any tricks for Priests like I denoted previously for Warlocks. In future expansions there are items that will allow multiboxed toons to face targets but I don't know of any for Classic nor likely for Classic-TBC.

Your best bet may be to have a macro that does a 360 spin spamming Flay till you acquire the target and stay on target. Not sure if that is doable or not but if you could do it to where it stops trying to turn once it reaquires it's target and starts channeling then it may work. Maybe try to check if not channeling swing 45% and try to channel, then if not channeling another 45% until it fires... Not sure if this can be done but worth a shot.

This is my thoery on how to counteract it, but its very unrealistic.

Yes i can setup the team, the pve side will be OK, some spells dont require facing the target.

I wonder if penance can face target as disc?

Dont get me wrong, love the locks way of facing people. This makes locks very viable from a simple press of a button!

My mission is to build a hybrid healer team that off heals the tank, without a resto.
