    Default Anyone running mythic+ dungeons?

Haven't seen many videos lately. There was a +7 and +8 in season 1, and 5 enh shaman did a +6 in season 2. Anyone doing any now? I would like to know what is currently possible if I really put the effort in.

I tried again but gave up, my highest being a +2 kings rest.

SerScruffington, while not very active on this site, is pushing higher-key Mythics, as well as raids on both his YouTube channel and Twitch stream.

Hopefully, I can get my schedule together sometime during 8.2 so I can show you all how it's done, or maybe Classic will just end up distracting me.
Do not send me a PM if what you want to talk about isn't absolutely private.
Ask your questions on the forum where others can also benefit from the information.

    I'm running several Teams.
True that I should focus on one, max two but well, I like the changes in gameplay from team to team.

Only played M+ in season 2.

    My best so far:
    5 BM Hunters - M+7
    Trinity - M+6
    5 Druids (Bear+3Boom+Resto) - M+6
    5 Protec Paladins - M+6
    ProtecWarrior+3ElemShaman+RestoShaman - M+4
    4DemonWarlock+Holy Priest - M+4

Sometimes I change and mix, I have a spare 5th warlock, 1 Holy Paladin and a Frost Mage.

Strangely enough, most of these best dungeons were this week, with the awful sanguine and fortified combo...
Sanguine is by far the worst...

Difficulty of dungeons (from easy to hard):
    Waycrest Manor
    Motherlode
    Freehold
    Tol Dagor
    Temple of Sethraliss
Shrine of the Storm (in fact, last boss is extremely easy with 5 hunter and 5 protec)
    King's Rest
Underrot (because of 3rd Bosse, didn't yet got the right strat)
Siege of Boralus (I don't even bother doing the last boss, so I avoid it)
Atal'Dazar (Totem Poison Boss is a nightmare - well, mostly the killing the totems part in fact)

I have some videos but the editing part requires lots of time (since I'm not used to it).
Since last week, I'm capturing all my runs to learn with them afterwards.
    It's working

I have not been using flasks, potions, gems, enchants because of the expense. Since you are having some success maybe I will go ahead and max out a couple teams and see how i do.

I have three teams in the 390+ ilvl. 5 BM hunters, 5 Pali, and a trinity. I have a few other geared that I could swap out, DK, DH, and rogue.

Have you thought about 4 BM hunters and a healer? Do you think that would be better or worse on your M+7?

I'm starting to spin up more teams both for the gold WQs and deciding the best approach to M+.

My 2c is that we're back with hunters being BIS for multiboxing dungeons. Like WoD with the overbearing mechanical nature and the high mobility requirements. Also a melee team might be perfectly fine as well.

I haven't completely given up on my DK / RSHM / DEMO * 3 but it's obviously going to be far harder on that comp than PWAR / MW / 3 * BM.

I use enchants and gems, never used flasks, potions, ...
Enchants and gems, are "free" meaning that the materials come out of my activity within WoW and I have all professions maxed out in at least one toon.
I have whole teams for gathering*5.
Never spent 1g on anything in this expansion, have 1 million in guild bank and 10k per toon at all times.

Will only use flasks, potions and other temporary enhancers if I really feel that I'm stuck.
It's not yet the case. This has been my best week with the worst affix (for me), sanguine.

Regarding a healer, it's hard to let 15-18k dps go
Unless, again, I'm stuck, will keep using the 5 hunters.
I use clefthoofs most of the time, if it's a fight with constant damage, I use the spirit beasts and their heal is pretty impressive.
1 targeted heal of the 5 SBs, it's a full health bar for one of the hunters.
30s cooldown is great, exhilaration, turtle, damage reduction shield from SBs, well, of course not the same as a healer .

He did have tons of trouble on the totems of the poison boss, lots and lots of trouble but he made it through. For me the totems are easy just the 2nd phase requires too much movement.

I'll have to wait for his videos to make it to youtube for the auto-captioning to know what he is saying, but the video looks good. That particular fight is 9:23 in.

BM isn't too bad. If you really want to take M+ serious BM is a good choice. Casters are hard mode now in M+. Even solo boxing. The other obvious choice is a well played all-melee crew with a rogue for shroud.

We need lots of healing in some boss fights.
I have a 5Protec Paladin but I know that sooner or later I'll be stuck with lack of dps (I do 10-11k with each).
Do you see any other melee group composition viable for M+7 and above?

    Hey Altsoba,

I'm not currently running any keys. Just leveling up a bunch of teams for the gold WQs /heritage armor and to get a better idea of what will work the best.

You might need to offset healing with CC. I know that's not the best coverage because of DRs on trash and I know from my own testing 5 x AoE stun isn't best either anymore. But I'm thinking more about snares now. A strategy to pull mobs to the deathball, drop some oil traps and kite with tank. If PWAR you can macro in a heroic leap at the same time the oil traps drop. Oils traps have a huge radius, too.

For melee Fury has piercing howl and decent DPS. Rogue can go crippling poison and fan of knives. Monk can drop a ring of peace between the tank and the mobs. Etc, etc.

I've been keeping my slave cursors a little north of center lately and bringing their camera out a ways to about where the tank and the mobs meet. Trying to perfect the ground targeting but it can also be useful for snaring too.
