Established Mage and Hunter - Dual boxing suggestions

I am new to all this and I am considering dual boxing (on one computer) my Mage and Hunter. They are both lvl 70 and it would be awesome to take them both into instances at once and whatnot. I am talking about bringing both my Hunter and Mage to a Heroic or Raid with other people. It gets really monotonous running all the Daily Heroics, Quests and Karazhan 2x every day/week. On a side note, is that against the "code of ethics" for a multi-boxer?

Anyway, can anyone offer any advice/pointers on doing this? I know its done all the time with many of the same class, but what obstacles will I run into with what I would like to do? I have read the tutorials and I have a good idea of what is needed. My questions also reside around how the best way to control both characters and perform good crowd control since both these characters provide that. I plan on using my Hunter as my main. I already use autohotkey for my Hunter on the BM macro and CC is the most complicated to perform on the Hunter.

You mean you use AHK to spam your BM shot rotation macro in an automated manner? That's not really cool around here.

I won't jump to conclusions but that's how it reads to me.

As for group makeup, yeah you're gonna need to run Hunter pet as your tank, with big CC so you can likely easily pewpewpew stuff to smithereens. Would be great likely. And then, in a week from now when you realize this is awesome and you buy a 3rd acct you can add your obligatory Healer =)

Is it not alright to hold down one button to spam the BM hunter shot rotation? Explain to me why not? I would just be pounding on one button anyway.

Also it appears that I was not clear in my original post so I will update it . I am talking about taking my Mage and Hunter into 5mans with 3 other people. I just hate running things like Daily Heroics, Daily Quests and Karazhan 2x every week on both characters. Is this against the "code of ethics" of a multi-boxer?

if you hold down a button and it presses a button "up" mode while you have it held down it's considered automation...i would stop doin this and actually press the button, as warden has probaly picked this up and they will be watching you :P

the way it knows you are just holding the button down is becasue the most a person can possibly press a button in a second is like 2 or 3 max, but if you hold down the button you are "pressing" that button like hundreds of times in a second...and that is automation and is a no no...

Thank you for the reply and the clarification. I will not use that any more. I know there are many hunters who use this but I would hate to be the one who gets banned for it. Off to bind that macro to my mouse wheel.. :0).

Anyone else have input on my main question?
