Default Things only multiboxers will relate to

    Hey all!

Just started up again and have been reminded of all the things I forgot, so this is a thread for all of things only a multiboxer will *eye roll* or *nod sagely* to.

I'll start it off with: The long turn in corridor corners.

Unfortunately, this is normally my go-to, and, at the moment, I can't seem to come up with another. Although, I usually say something along the lines of, "You gotta steer like an 18-wheeler," which I stole from Svpernova years ago.
Do not send me a PM if what you want to talk about isn't absolutely private.
Ask your questions on the forum where others can also benefit from the information.

Or circular tower stairs where you have to scrape your face against the wall.

One thing I can't get used to when playing solo is that my interrupt is on such a long cooldown, normally I have pummel, spear hand, counter spell and counter shot all in a nice round robin.

I keep pressing my follow key even when running a solo toon. It's such a habit at this point that I catch myself doing it after combat, after getting on a flying mount, logging in, etc.

running up spiral stairs and losing a toon, when you run back down to get your lost toon he would run the spiral stair down aswell due to still being at /follow on your main such that you can't catch him until you reach the bottom

happend in the old orgirmmar flight tower way too many times (and I had really trouble to understand how that even works in the beginning xD)

    Nope, you don't.

On my follow keymap (DEL as I'm left handed) I have ALT+DEL for scoot. What is scoot? Exactly what you'd think!

They follow and with a quick ALT press they scoot forward as long as I hold the key down. Tower climbing is no longer a problem!

I'll add one for the thread: Inventory Management. Everyone swears it isn't a problem. PFT. Try managing 5-10 inventories!

so it's both follow and fwd ? you get a million "follow broken" raid alerts while you press the key (or removed that warning from jamba/ema; but then how do you know when you do lose a guy ?)

Not sure if you were replying to me but it's two mapped keys inside the keymap.

    One follows (del).
One scoots forward (alt + del).

So when I know I'm on a tight stairwell or sharp corners I have them follow me to the bend and then I alt + del to scoot them forward. Then resume follow.

Works very well on sharp corners with a little practice.
