    1. I'm guessing that they will use the current API with some parts locked down - so macros and addons will be interesting
    2. Character models and animations - it might be a deal breaker for me if the new models and animations can't be turned off.

I have good news for you - Neither will be present in the Classic re-release.

EDIT: I should be fair and say that anything is possible. As in, they could implement the new models into the old game, but, obviously, there'd be a toggle for such a thing if it existed. Right now, however, there is zero indication that new models will be present.

Do not send me a PM if what you want to talk about isn't absolutely private.

Does that me that we will be able to run much more chars on 1 computer than in BFA ?
I thought I was going to be the same requirements as Legion/BFA but if we can run more characters I'd be interested in Classic.

I don't know what your goal is, but it is highly unlikely that new character models and animations are the limiting factors for why you can't run more game clients on a single machine.

Regardless, if you wish to discuss performance, then please open a new thread, as I'd rather not de-rail this thread with unrelated discussion merely hours after it was created.

Knowing the hardware requirements is a valuable thing to want to learn from the beta, thus on topic, imo.

Thank you for your input, Moorea, but my reply was in relation to them and their (assumed) current performance issues. If they want to discuss why they're having issues running X amount of game clients, then they should open up a new thread, since troubleshooting their current performance issues is not relevant to this topic.

Now, if we could stay on topic, that'd be great.
