By the way, if you have an efficient AE setup leveling in dungeons is actually very fast. A warrior/paladin, any healer plus 3x warlock/mage clears dungeons very quickly. I've already done the math elsewhere here but grinding dungeons is faster xp/hour than questing.

Thats definitely given me enough confidence to go full 5-box and run dungeons all the way to 60

I guess a paladin tank would be best in that scenario, given that they can hold AOE aggro better. I hadn't really thought about that too much. In the end it kinda depends though how your group will look like, if you have enough AOE or more single-target damage. For low-level dungeoning I reckon you could tank with a warrior in dps specc to kill mobs quicker for example, if you are more on the single-target side for damage.

Warriors hold AE threat as well as paladins and have much better survivability and single target threat.

The main reason for choosing paladin over warrior is the utility of being able to swap the paladin into healing gear for raiding or PvP.
