If they include the current restrictions into classic that we have in live then I would also assume they will have warmode toggles, too.

If so, just disable warmode. Done. Gone. Goodbye and thanks for the fish.

That's been my attitude since BFA launched. I will not participate in anything I feel I'm severely gimped in.

Why, in a million years, would you believe that the current War Mode system, from retail, is going to be part of Classic? How do we go from simply disabling /follow in PvP combat, to a full-blown War Mode toggle?

The two are completely independent of each other, but I'm genuinely curious as to why you think WM would ever be part of Classic?

Either they will disable follow in /pvp or they will only enable follow to work fully in world pvp. You can 100% expect it will be disabled in Bg's. Dunno, I'd really like to see it in world pvp given that resource farming in Vanilla is not worth of boxing (herbalism, mining) and then given that it's pvp realm with only limited people (no sharding presumably at higher levels (20+) ) you would constantly have to fight your way through organized groups. Also, given security today and as I've said limited pvp realms any cheater/botter would be spotted on sight, through entire classic span.

We'll just have to wait and see. I do hope I get beta access at least on 2 accounts (dunno if it's on bnet account or for only single licence) so I can test it out.
Would be amazing to have follow work in pvp as in my opinion in Classic it will not hurt anyone ( we are not that many nowdays anymore). Hope that Isboxer will be enabled shortly after beta is out (addon mainly). I do really like Mirai's warlock setup on demo so most likely I'll run either that or warriors (don't forget we can counter mages with FAP (pop FAP before 35 yards) (charge with 3 warriors, intercept>dead mage)).

I think mostly the boxer strength will be mainly warlock/ele setup, especially shields/and shield from AQ (I've explained that to Kruschpak way before). You can implore tactics such as 15x dot in 3 globals plus 4x seduce/4x coil/4x shadowburn even without follow. Especially if you are running UD warlock (which it tbh our only issue with 5+ groups).

So, with follow disabled, it got me thinking--would we be able to multibox like they do on Runescape? Using KVM/keyboard and mouse splitters like xzin did, with clicktomove enabled. All the mouse pointers would be synchronized to the same location, the slaves do not require follow.

    this is an example.

Given this is posted in wow classic, can you not forget to mention follow does work in pvp combat in classic (stress test, beta) so far, just not in battlegrounds (and update the above otherwise beautiful flow chart, albeit incorrect)
2,3,5 boxing wow with Wow Open Box and MAMA, give them a try!

(That chart was specifically targeted at releases with WarMode; the chart even has a footnote about which builds it applies to, FYI...)

It does work that way for now. However, I am now taking bets on how long it will last before it gets hotfixed to match current behavior. Consider that with the crush of release player concentrations, leveling will be painful already. Level 20+ when players move out of the starter zones into PVP zones, add in multiboxers that have been tuning things up in the beta or elsewhere and are ready to kick ass and chew bubblegum when Classic releases, which nobody has ever seen before in an initial release (multiboxing wasn't really a thing until a lot of people were in raid gear already), and I'm sure you can imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth that's going to occur. Maybe some boxers will spam dungeons to level and won't really be part of that but you can guarantee that there are some that will gleefully level in PVP zones while doing their best to deny the other faction access to the area in which they are leveling. Won't be anything wrong with it but we all know how little logic and reason matter when someone is corpse camping your poor little twink and rolling your buddies when they try to come help you.

We must not be seeing the same chart or footnote (not that it's a big deal either but if you do read it actually says that it has _nothing_ to do with warmode)

What I hope they hotfix is the BGs if the #nochanges folks could get behind that (or the lucky people in beta file the bugs about it)

Can we IWT with a hunters pet or a non-battlepet in classic? I cant try right now since I am at work. That is really disheartening that follow is removed

it appears that kvm switches are the only way. thats alot of extra machines to buy then

I don't get it. How does a KVM switch give you /follow in battlegrounds? What do extra machines have to do with /follow? You don't need a second PC or a KVM switch to multibox in battlegrounds, with or without /follow.
