16GB of HBM2 VRAM! Depending on the results of benchmarks coming soon, might be worth looking into for boxers at nearly half the price of a 2080 Ti.

~2080 performance at ~1070 prices? I really hope it does well as it'll inject some rustled jimmies back into the GPU market, which is much needed.
Now playing: WoW (Garona)
The RVII is on par with an RTX 2080 and/or GTX 1080 Ti in both DX11 and DX12. From AMD's keynote in January:

The nice thing about it is the 16GB of VRAM, but most multiboxers probably don't really need that.
The launch is also in very low quantity, at least in some regions.

I take everything AMD says with a grain of salt. Their marketing department always says their new product is "on par" with whatever comparable Intel/Nvidia product it's being marketed to compete with but I don't think I've ever seen it turn out to be true. The only area in which AMD actually competes is pricing.
Still, if its performance is close to a 2080 and with double the VRAM it seems like a solid pick for its price. Depending how many clients you're boxing I suppose.

The reviews are out and it seems to be within +/-10% of the RTX 2080, especially at higher resolutions.

That's actually closer than I expected. A barely noticeable drop in FPS in FPS drop in exchange for double the VRAM seems worthwhile.
Still wouldn't trade in my 2080 Ti for one, though.
