Gathermate tracks locations of herbs. So if you were going from A to B to C in a repetition for a while as the GM was watching you it would look just like what botters do. Versus someone who doesn't use an addon like this farming herbs would not always be going to the same spot.

I understand other people use Gathermate and that using it isn't against the ToS. I was just pointing out the possibility they saw him using it and assumed he was botting.

If this is the case then your accounts got mixed up with what bots typically do. Multiboxers already get tons of reports thrown at us because players hate what we do. Normally it's a non-issue but this can look like a bot and that may have been enough to get your 6 month suspension. As someone else said above this all assumes you are being honest with us.
Im also thinking that i may look like a bot but i have done all those things myself. It seems looking like a bot and a real bot is same in GM's eyes.I just hoped that they would give me a warning first before auto-banning them all.Right now i cant even defend myself to them.Nothing i said made a difference. They believe im a bot because i looked like one.I cant say anything else then ''not fair'' and have to swallow it up.

The good news? If the accounts you used are on different battle.net accounts... you get more chances at having this reversed!
Jump on a second bnet account that was banned 'together', put in your case, give evidence to support YOU and they will review it again with your new information. If you can prove you didn't bot (by showing HOW/WHAT you multi-box in detail) and they can verify it on one bnet? they reverse the ban on all of them.
Yes, some of those accounts are my friends but they all have works they have to do and gave their accounts to me.I also used only one pc for multibox.I know for certain that they dont play wow and didnt cheat.I just dont know how to make Blizzard believe me because all they said to me right now is that they have verification and its no mistake that im a bot.Well,i never used one but it seems player reports are sign from the gods to GM's that they dont care what im saying.

Still no. Running around looking like a bot will get you reported.

Failing a GM check will get you suspended. They don't just look at what you're doing.

You're boxing from accounts that all have different real names attached to them. That does not look good from where I am sitting.

Edit: Sorry did not mean to make my post sound harsh.

Feelsbadman, what with how just how many people are multiboxing just to farm gold at hyperspawns and such to the point that GMs started doing supposed bot checks to determine whether or not any type of automation was involved, etc. Makes me miss the old days.

Overly dramatic with the reports being a sign from the gods eh? The GM's did care which is why they re-investigated the matter for you. You need to give them evidence so it can back YOU up in regards to you being legit. I already mentioned it. You tell them how you multiboxed, what software and any familiar patterns they may have seen.

I'll give you an example of my own farming that got me banned (perma- was reversed). I would put a TV show on, pay 0 attention to my characters and just farm. I would vendor, re position and start again every 45ish minutes because that was the length of the show. I failed numerous bot checks because their investigation was based on an older procedure-- a slight teleport, kill a pet, kill a character etc. So I explained in detail what I did and what software was used-- I even sent in the isboxer script I was using. I hope you can understand that telling them repeatedly 'I didn't do it' doesn't help them prove your innocence.

It's fine to be harsh I said the same thing and he waved it off with an excuse.

He wasn't stand-still farming. GM's have always investigated reports. You can hyper-spawn nearly anything I think; you just need to find out the spawn points of x Y z mob and nuke em all. I started in Vanilla on boars haha. I think it's just more well known now due to the youtubers sharing it all.

The problem with the stand-still hyperspawns is that it tends to be far more on the side of abusing game mechanics since very rarely are any of the spots being farmed actually mobs that naturally spawn fast, and are instead being FORCED to respawn while disrupting gameplay for other players as they tend to be apart of a WQ or for quests in general. And GMs have not always done(or if they have it was never mentioned) these so called supposed in-game bot checks that have people saying they've had their character's moved around / cancelled actions or broken follow etc to determine whether the gameplay was automated or not.

    Cheating

You are responsible for how you and your account are represented in the game world. Cheating in any fashion will result in immediate action. Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.
Exploiting other players is an equally serious offense. Scamming, account sharing, win-trading, and anything else that may degrade the gaming experience for other players will receive harsh penalties.
