Tankadin, Holydin and 3 mages. I AoE heroics all the time. Not all the pulls of course but it is possible on many. The only time really when AoE does not work is when the mob cast some kind of disable spell like fear or stun. Botanica is one of the most AoE friendly instances. The trick to heroic AoE is to understand that (unlike regular) no-one except the tank can be hit. Tankadin holds agro (with holy shield and consecrate), holydin spams heals on him and the mages alternate Flamestrike and Blizzard from some distance. It is not as fast AoE as Arcane Explosion spam but it is 100x safer.
