If you are enhancement spec shaman and dps warrior, then use your enhancement as your main and just abuse the charge function on your warrior to get in range.

But on topic. You should also realise there is a bit of server lag between clients. Ingame they might look further apart then to anyone else ingame.

Also, if you do a dance macro on both, it will probably not look in sync for you, but it will to everyone else, since they experience both your clients with the server lag. Whilest you only experience one of the characters on a screen with server lag.
