Default Well I had to go and do it.

After playing 5 priests to lvl 63, I decided to try out the tournament realm and rolled 5 tauren elemental shaman. Wow. I'm completely torn now cause all I wanna play are shaman and have the distinct feeling I'm gonna be starting over again on live soon. :/

Tried 5 priests as well on the tourney server - they do ok, but no where as ridiculous as the shaman are. I do have 5 locks in the 20s already...maybe I'll have to give that a shot.

    hehe, I had the same!

I leveled 4 warlocks and 1 priest to 63, and then leveled 4 shammies to catch up with my level 70 pally and now all I want to do it play my shammies. (they are 56)

I did something similiar. I originally rolled a "PVE" team priest, lock, mage, mage, warrior and got them to 56. I decided that PVE was pretty boring, and tried out 5-Shamans. I'm now at 62 with those guys.

I started out with a team of one paladin and three shadow priests. After I started my five shamans group, I realized that I hadn't been doing much damage (if any, compared) with the other group. I then gave four warlocks and a priest a shot and.. put simply.. DoTs are nice, but I love the elemental burst damage too much.

Well the only thing I'm concerned about for arenas are people just LOS kiting a shaman. I've run into it a few times on the tourney server...SL/SL locks just popping out dropping dots and running around pillars. If I were to go with the 5 lock setup - this obviously wouldn't be a problem. Thoughts?

Shaman's are fun in the BGs until 2 mages catch wind of what's going on and decide to tag team your entire squad to death in 5 seconds repeatedly

I've run into this a few times already and learned pretty quickly how to deal with it. They'll usually blink in and run around your group like lunatics spamming AE - I save NS/EM/CL for them to jump in. Drop a earthbind totem, 5x nova totems and unload. If they happen to iceblock the totems, I warstomp when iceblock is down and drop another 5xnovas. Get groundings out and spam your chain heal macro while they're immune.

Log into your account(s) via the standard blizzard account admin system @ www.worldofwarcraft.com. There's a link to sign up for the tournament. It's $20 per account, but that enters you into the regional 3v3 tournament - eventually scaling up to a worldwide 3v3 playoff worth $75,000 to the winning team. You can create up to 3 toons per account - they start at lvl 70. There are vendors at all of the starting areas stocked full of S2/PVE gear, gems, enchants, trinkets, etc. Unlimited gold and resources available. It's a great way to play with combos or just classes that you've wanted to try out "pre-equipped" with full arena gear.

Edit : There are NO PVE entities at all on these servers. No mobs, guards, vendors (other than the tourney specific ones). The _only_ thing you can do is duel others or do arenas - all brackets of skirmish and rated, however only 3v3 counts towards the tourney.
