Brew pup not working for WPVP...

So I have been trying to use my Alterac Brew pup during wpvp to have my toons organized and follow me during combat. I do not BG just do a ton of wpvp I have all my bags full. I target the pup with main then hit assist for all my toons then IWT but nothing happens but a slight pause/ lag spike on my screen no follow. Anyone having issues with their toons to follow pup during wpvp? Like I said all my bags are full so I don’t take the drink but they will follow if I use the Travelers tundra repair NPC.

I tried it out right before bfa launched and it was extremely clunky and just felt like it didn't work, or wasn't worth the hassle. They've really done a number on follow.

Same here. Out of combat it works like it should but once you are flagged for pvp it seems to take a 💩

The Ethereal Soul-Trader TCG Battle Pet works for moving characters that are still flagged in PvP combat, i've started using that recently to get them out of areas that i can't mount in(like the building at Terrace of the Devoted in Vol'dun) so i can get them all in my main toons' Hivemind mount.

I'm tempted to get the card from ebay, is the pet any good?

I'm currently IWT spam and seem to be doing OK, there are a few times I'd like to get some sort of follow going (mainly following pepople running away from me or trying to LOS me).

As an actual pet for battles? Not sure. But it works well enough to move toons out of areas you can't mount in, you can also mount up on a 2 seater with your main and IWT yourself, and as long as you don't let them get within range to mount it, they'll follow along behind as if you were using /follow.

Sorry - I mean to follow around, never really done pet battles.

Currently my DK's seem to hold the PvP flags for ages (not sure if it's Auras or something) so I use a 2-person mount to get them together. Swapping toons also sometimes kicks them all into /follow - so buggy in open world.

I've never actually seen that pet in game so if I may, I have a few questions;

1) Can he be out all the time like a normal Pet?

2) If he's out whilst I'm fighting, say in Gurubashi arena and somebody runs out the arena. Can I make all my toons target my pet, IWT him whilst I run out the arena - in essance pulsing follow - ? - the Mount ofc doesn't work here due to combat.

There is the stealthman 54 item, and a toy added in 8.1 Rhankas Escape Plan that is similar to shadowmeld that should help you drop combat quicker.
