Default 8.1 PTR — Experience Required to Level Reduced (Levels 20-120)

    https://www.wowhead.com/news=288495/...tr-build-28366

While they technically reduced the experience from 110 to 120, it's miniscule, but otherwise, it looks like a good amount of reduction in the areas that needed it. Let's hope it's enough to help the leveling process not feel so stagnant.

What about the exp potion that was mentions on wowhead. Draught of the ten lands
That means +10% on top of the general exp reduction which is great. "Draught of the Ten Lands is from the Commendation vendor for 10 Commendations each"

The XP change was definitely needed. I leveled up 2 different teams from scratch after the xp changes and this will make it easier to swallow because the progression will feel smoother.

I didn't mention it because, honestly, I forgot all about it since I find 10% for one hour to be kind of weak. You'd need to stack up on them, but you need special currency to buy the item, which you may or may not have a lot of.

Personally, I just don't see the appeal because you have to consider that, out of the 60 minutes that the buff is active, you're going to spend a portion of your time wasting it because of any collection quests and/or travel time between the quest area(s) and NPC(s). On top of that, if you want to use them in a dungeon, then an hour probably isn't enough to even get two dungeons in—especially in 40-80 range. So, in actuality, to a normal player, a 60-minute buff turns into what? 30-40 minutes? I don't know if that's worth it, especially since we don't know how easy those Commendations to come by.

    To quote WoWHead:

It is unclear right now what the other methods of acquisition are besides Warfronts--perhaps Incursions or objectives from War Mode. The rate of acquisition is still unknown as well, as this is a brand-new currency. However, with two active Warfronts in Patch 8.1, and more to come in the future, hopefully Warfronts will be a good method of acquisition.
Perhaps people will be stocked up on them in a few months or closer to the end of an expansion, but for mount or transmog collectors, you're going to be wanting to spend those Commendations on other things first.

Sorry if I'm raining on anyone's parade.

Was planning to get my teams leveled but now definitely waiting for this. Kinda bored with my rshm + dk + 3* lock combo.
