Default Simple way to set focus of FTL's target?

I've tried using ISBoxer's Focus {FTL}'s Target or whatever as well as a multitude of other "tricks" but I can NOT get my follower's to set FTL's target as their focus.

I know I'm doing something dumb but it's driving me nuts.

    Anyone have any tips?
    Whisperwind - US - Alliance
5x Human Death Knights - all level 120
1x Human Paladin for LFD: 120
Bleeding Hollow - US - Horde - [On the Bench currently]

    5x Orc Death Knights - 1 x 90 + 4 x 60s
1x Blood Elf Paladin: Level 67 - Healer for 5 man LFD

So that macro will set your follow's focus to your main and then set their focus to your mains target.

    What isn't working for you?

It just doesn't seem to do anything at all. Other macros not related to focus work fine and I've tried to even force it by creating other types of macros (party1target, etc) and nothing works. And of course I have no idea why

    Interesting...

Isboxer has so many options its pretty insane.

This is how i would try bruteforce this, as i dont know another way right now in isboxer.

I would create my own custom one:

Create a straight key broadcast under... isb42 - combat broadcast hotkeys.

    F.ex "alt + f".

Then go into that button and make it a two step:

    1. Do assist me in isb42 - base hotkeys key map --> self
    (activate when keypress down).
(you can find and copy this from "assist me" within the "isb42 - base hotkeys").

    2. Press the ingame macro or wow macro you created in isboxer, to /focus
(activate when keypress is released on all except current game, or whichever you prefere).

This will make the selected slaves focus the target of whichever you target while you play on your "main / current window".

Well you could ofcourse use the oldschool macros ingame:
    Button one: /assist nameofthecharacter
    Button two: /focus

But then you need more keypresses, one for each possible character you wish to assist and focus. But if you play few characters, its not a big job.

You could build upon this aswell in isboxer with f.ex adding a 3rd step, f.ex that: if you press alt + s ("s" for sheep") 3 times, character nr 5 will assist you, focus it and then sheep it. I dont remember the name of the addon right now, but its one where you can make the character say in chat a countdown for when it breaks, so you can re cc if need be.

That spesific characters sheep spell should be something that uses it on its focus as pri 1, if it has a stored focus, like:

    #showtooltip
    /use [@focus,exists,nodead][]SpellName

    etc

    Code:
    /target {FTL}
    /focus [@targettarget]
    or

    Code:
    /assist {FTL}
    /focus

You're not running afoul of targeting delays, I presume? Also, I didn't think that would work outside of your 5-man group.
