5 Locks - PLing with a 70?

Hi guys, my old-school main is a 70 Lock. Now i made 5 Toons (Locks too) lv18 so far and was boxing with them. I just had the idea, that i could use my 70 Lock to group with 4 of them (as i anyway just need 4 more 70s) and do instances with them. I guess this will work, right? Will the xp be cut down a lot for my lowbies in a setup like this inside instances?

The XP will be cut down, but you will kill things much faster, thus it's a good idea.

You can usually power level to about 40ish, some take it a bit higher.

If you want, try this method for super XP.

Gather a lot of mobs with your 70, then run to the entrance, and dot them all once (for me, in SM cath, it was 1 corruption) down to about 30-40% life. Then, when they are all that low, dot them all once more, and jump out of the instance before they die. This will make it so your lowbie alts get all the XP, like they just soloed a lvl 35 elite.

There is a lot of specifics to it, like hiding your alts, so that when you zone out, the mobs are far enough that they dont run over and kill your alts, before the mobs die.

Yes yes can have your 70 lock run your 4 though instances. Seed all mobs and have berry keep them at bay should work well. Not as good a mage or pally but still good

A Lock going to be less efficient from 1-40 than say a Paladin or a Mage, however as soon as you can go into ZF with your gang of nublets the lock will outshine all other classes.

A warrior is pretty good in ZF with dedicated healers, a lock however is better, faster and easier.

All you need to do is drop 2 or 3 dots per target and the target dies. A lock can benefit from a healer in that they can push the pace harder. However a healer is not required if you have good gear. You will do around 100k an hour with a Lock in ZF which is better than you will likely do in SM with a paladin or a mage. You can do ZF into your 50's to boot.

I tried doing this in RFC w/ a lock, wasn't able to do it all that well tho, i kept on getting 16xp, got 225 once tho which was nice.



How do you guys reccoment doing this with a 70 lock in rfc?

Should I just use a rank 1 corruption?

Do I leave the party and stay in instance or can do I just leave the instance? Thanks bunches!!!
