Default World PvP and zone disruption

    Hi,

does anyone still do some open PvP and got warned or banned for it (zone disruption)?

Since middle legion it looks like that blizzard simply don't want multiboxers do any PvP anymore because some of our guild members got warnings or short suspensions for it (zone disruption).
Of course, I understand that you should not besiege important spots for hours, but these multiboxers were always only for a short time at certain spots and never blocked portals, quests or something like that.

Yesterday, for example, we went to Boralus to gank and went into an empty house, stayed there for about 1.5 hours. The next day everyone got a warning again for zone disruption. We did not even got the server lagging, because we did not have enough account for it.

I thought with bfa that will get better because of warmode and that everyone opted in wants to do PvP.

When I think back to wotlk, cata or mop when I was more active we or I never got that kind of thing. And back then we truly exaggerated.

Has anyone else made similar experiences with open PvP as a multiboxer since legion?

It is probably time for wow multiboxing in pvp to die in peace for ever.

    greetings

Whoever spots the similarity in all of the recent complaints about warnings/bans/etc. in the last few weeks gets a cookie.
    Now playing: WoW (Garona)

Despite 1.5 hours, we did not bother or hindered anyone. How can that be zone disruption?
Everyone could have ignored us. The people who came to us wanted the bounty.

That's very interesting actually. One could argue it should be allowed because players are actively looking for the bounty. Maybe blizzard wants you to roam around more? Regardless it sounds silly. Assuming the house was not home to any NPCs of interest or quest objectives, it really should be fine to camp it.

Sigh. I wish they'd just say "You can't multibox in pvp" so it's 100% clear to every person instead of this convoluted approach.

I haven't seen mentioned yet, which seems odd, but how many? I am picturing a roving gang of 40 DKs flying around and killing everything and anything in their path.

Which would look really awesome, but yeah zone disruption.

    lol

those oligophrenics that were "griefed" were literally looking for pvp and they got it

afterwards, they (unfortunately having just enough braincells to use the CS feature) opened up their "customer support" to complain to blizzard

    disgusting

just mere thoughts of looking at that gm message, reading and thinking it through literally sends me into e-rage ...ugh blizzard trying to cater to the lowest denominator..smh

This is the issue with open ended rules with no clear definitions or guide lines. Anything can be intrepreted as zone disruption or harassment and if enough people complain, justly or not, action can some time be taken.

There is no consistency to it and it's down to luck as to which GM happens to look at the situation.

Think I'll be mainly doing PVE since even with Warmode where you specifically need to opt-in for all aspects of WPVP, it seems people's feelings matter more than consistent application of rules. I'd bet good money on the same thing being done by one of the massive WPVP guilds not being treated the same.
