Since they wrote the rules, and they're trying to satisfy the largest number of people, and we're a "vanishingly rare" portion of the playerbase, can you blame them?

As far as being clear about what is and is not OK and appying that standard consistently, yes, I absolutely can.

I'm not saying they should not police conduct ingame. I am saying I simply wish there were actual guidelines regarding it beyond vague policies that are far too open to interpretretation.

I can't disagree. I'm still happier with Blizzard customer support than Amazon at this point. :P

In the past I have not been a PVP'er but since BfA (War Mode) I have done nothing but play open world PVP. The majority of my last week has been a heavy focus on world PVP. The weekend past I did nothing but harass the opposite faction - in a big way I might add. So far no warning or suspension.

so despite the warmode system, which should actually be fine with ganking questhubs for years because ppl who feel harassed can simply turn it off, multiboxers are not getting warned for sitting in the middle of nowhere killing people that run purposely into them? how can someone even try to defend blizzard in this case, thats just retarded.

Im glad i saved those 200 euros for now

I see their point with wPvP and mass multiboxing. It's a numbers race. wPvP always seems to go this route and it ends with someone like Prepared blowing thousands to win and inevitably crash the server.

Instead of going this route what they should do is phase out people in raid groups from participating in wPvP. Sorry but yeah the entire design is prone to failure whenever you get one side to the point of forming a raid to wipe out the other side.

This comes back to a point I made about concurrency not too long ago. 10 + man raid? Phase them out. Regardless of boxing. Make it so they only see other raid parties.

Great, the alliance is forming a raid to have a fight with the horde. Now the alliance raid is in an empty phase.

You've just described the biggest problem with wPvP. The answer is always get more people. It's foolish to think people won't say, form a raid group to camp a spawn point for the opposite faction for hours on end.

No bad comes from having them in a phase with only other raiding parties. That takes many advantages of forming a raid party out of the equation entirely. The goto size will then fall to party play which is a helluva lot easier to deal with when you are Joe Casual spawning into the world.

moving groups to their own phase seems counter-intuitive to the concept of the game being an MMO in the first place.
