The last boss is a supreme joke, but if you don't know what's going on it can be difficult.
Ain't that the truth... I avoided this place like the plague for a good year and only then bothered to look up how the last boss works and turns out it's one of the easiest ones. Lessons were learned about actually knowing the mechanics though.
