    Question Troubleshoot - ACT?

    Edit ATG

Ok so finally gave in and bought myself some wow accounts

After watching a ton of multiboxology guides on youtube i was going along fairly smoothly with my first leveling team.

Had no trouble with any sync issues after a few hours of fiddling with ISBoxer, so Assist (auto assist also) and interact with target (capable to auto moving and looting)
However I want to get into mixed teams very soon and this is where i got stuck on my first issue.

My problem is i cannot bind a separate IWT to my ATG. My regular IWT button for talking to quest npcs, looting etc with Jamba works fine - It worked better when just pressing a 1 thru = key auto IWT'd my slave toons to chase after a mob to use the skill.

I'd like to be able to run in with a mixed team, IWT sending just to melees so they engage, while ranged DPS sit back However at the moment when i press IWT all characters outside my ATG also run forwards.

I am not very experienced with key maps or ATGs ~~~

Ideally I would like to broadcast specific keys ( 1,2,3 etc) just to an ATG melee group with auto IWT enabled on the 1,2,3 keypress, so the melees run forwards and use the skills instead of having to press IWT>>>then skill 1,2,3

    Any help is much appreciated
Also thanks and sorry to Mirai for the great youtube playlist, yet i still suck with it regardless :0

There is a good reason...its a pain in the a to setup.

Also, if you do any sort of challenging content, being forced to deal with and individually have to move both ranged and melee characters due to different debuffs and aoe effects.. mind blown.

if you ask me, doing that on 2 tanks and just ranged classes is plenty hectic enough.

If you want to test out melee, best to first learn how to do it with a melee team only.

Yeah look idk what to say to that really.
I know boxing a mixed team is harder than just boxing 5 ranged dps, but my issue at the moment isn't the difficulty of playing the setup, it's trying to get the setup to work in my ISBoxer.
Ideally I would just 5box the same class but im looking to improve my ISBoxer setup and understanding.

In ISBoxer make 3 new keymaps.

    MOVEMENT-ALL
    MOVEMENT-RANGE
    MOVEMENT-MELEE

WASD / UpDownLeftRight for you not keymapped.
WASD / UpDownLeftRight with ALT for Melee
WASD / UpDownLeftRight with SHIFT for Ranged
WASD / UpDownLeftRight with CTRL for ALL

Then make two ATGs for Ranged and Melee. Add characters respectively.

Now in the keypress actions direct the keypress actions to the ATGs they should be sending the commands to.

    That's how I do it.

Its a nice setup, but it only partially solves the issues. Most of the time you need to individually move spesific characters to prevent them dying. If you do any challenging content. Just having the f.ex melee scatter in a random direction will most of the time get 1 or more killed. As you can imagine, you have to either create custom buttons for 4 directions on a individual character basis or/also you can, if need be, switch to playing a different computer. Depending on how fast you need to react really.

To move my offtank around i use a usb pedal with lots of buttons. Can also use the pedals buttons to make him taunt, use a cooldown etc haha. Its quite hilarious i had to get this pedal. Its handy though.

I have it set in Iboxer where ctrl-f10 (remapped to shift F) sends ctrl-f10 to the toons which in their keybinds in WoW is interact with target. So when i wan to get a quest or turn in a quest, I press F and it send IWT to my toons. I bypass the macro in isboxer. With this I have a step in my isboxer macro for E (my spam attack key) that sends ctrl-f10 to Harva(rogue) and Kolbain (warrior).

The first picture is my IWT macro in isboxer using FTL assist and ctrl-f10 for IWT in wow
The Second is my dps macro. FTL assist, 2 which in wow is what i have my dps macros on for each toon, and ctrl-f10 for the 2 melee dps

Hope that makes sense (PS Bear in mind , I use jamba strobing follow, basically it keeps your toons trying to follow all the time, so I can spam IWT which results with the toons swirling around most the time. Not as clean as the toon running up and stop and fighting but its easier for me.)

    Alrighty
I've made a ATG hotkey which sends IWT to my ATG of melee only, so later someday when i make a mixed team of ranged and melee that isnt the paladin i play from, i can press this to get all in the ATG to run forwards.

I have found in some boss fights they like to aoe attack everyone regardless of aggro which requires alot of movement on my part. Stil have not yet found a suitable way to combat this from dungeons like black fathom deeps last boss.

Really enjoying tank and spank boss fights though xD super easy
