Thread: [BFA] World pvp

    So... the melee teams sort of work better. Got me thinking - why can't I just treat the Hunter team like a melee team when I run into a PvP situation.
    So i'm now trying to find the section on IWT where you can set it to toggle. Would like to push a key and it's on and preferably push a different key and it's off.
    Is that possible?

    Edit* found an old post on here, got it working. Now to test..

    Did I miss the part where you cant use pets to follow in BGs? I never tried it till today.

    The warden tower issue is absolute bullshit. It's all PvE content and flagged as PvP makes little sense. I really hope that is a leftover from Legion that won't be in BFA areas.

    Follow breaks for about half a second while you annihilate the NPCs at the Warden Towers. It will work again pretty much right after you finish killing whatever it is you're currently fighting. It's really not a big deal...

    there is a differance between towers and wpvp fighting other players , dot/pets keeps you alot longer in combat specially if the player you attack runs away

    that has been for a while now but if you for have your soultrader out before you enter the bg it comes with you and you can use it , only downside about that method is the second your toons dies the soultrader doesnt respawn with you and you cant summon it back anymore

    in wpvp you can use the soultrader or brewpup

    hunters dont have IWT like melee classes they dont run after the player , IWT (running towards a player) is a old system but never gave hunters it when they changed SV to a melee spec

    I did notice that issue last night, is there even a method to have them "face" the enemy?
    From what I could tell IWT made them turn on auto attack and it felt sometimes they would run forward just enough to be in range of their bow.

    if im not mistaking the assist me option will do that i havent fully tested everything yet on hunters , there my very first group i ever made years ago and not giving up on them at all

    I know when BM had Volley still, when you toggle it ON i think your toon will face your enemy. But now they removed it from BM, not sure what spec has it. It's to be tested.

    edit: I think i'll be sticking to PVE for Mboxing and the occasional 1 toon pvp with friends.

    Unfortunately this is not experience i am having right now, i have been going out of my way to do the wardens towers on all 7 teams of 5 i have each day to get the mounts from the changed Honor system. When i engage a mob and kill it the time between follow breaking and pvp combat clearing can range anywhere from 10-30 seconds, sometimes even when just standing there or i'm mounted in the air not attacking anything at all it breaks 5-10 times back to back spastically. Another issue with hunters specifically is that pets seem to trigger pvp combat break just for being present what so ever, And the inability to IWT with ranged is really painful. Face Toward Target only appears to work for me if a target is within 5 yards as well. i'm honestly really bummed out about this change because it causes so much more hassle to get stuff done, Even when i purposely go out of my way to never actually fight anyone in world pvp.
