How fun is Multiboxing in WoW?

It depends on what you want to accomplish and your level of patience.

If you want a 5 man squad at max-level to do endgame content you will probably be disappointed. Nothing is easy anymore as a mulitboxer as PvE content gets harder, arenas are gone (but 5s will return in BFA), BGs are off-limits and daily content exists to get you to quit.

If on the other hand you just want to grind mats, do quests, play with different comps for funzies then it'll be just fine. Just be aware if you take it seriously there is a HUGE learning curve. I'm specifically referring to a 3-5 man squad of different classes/specs doing things like high mythic+ keys and/or arena or raiding.

As far as I can tell most people fire up 10+ for world PvP and soloing raids as a death ball. I've never been interested in either so the process is mixed feelings to me.

still no official statement that 5s is comming back, it looks like the maps are just tagged for 5v5 due to skirmishes
