Anarchy Online - Brainstorming

I made part of my characters on rk1, but I had troubles cause I couldn't see all of my characters. Does Anarchy use multiple servers like guildwars, or are there just multiple starting areas for each race?

Certain zones are instanced, the nubi island is one of them, if you make your way to the Teleport Tower, (down the beach, right turn into the tunnel, up the ramp, past the fight with aliens, and up the short ramp, the large door just to the right of "Travis Molten") you can all meet up there and group up and when you zone out all your toons will be in the same instance.

To find out what server number you are in press shift+f9 to get zone details.

, started last week and have to say im addicted :P lol!, pity cant set it all up like maximizer tho bit annoing alt tabbin/clicking on each screen to bring forward.

first i just started solo to get used to the game again but after i got to lvl 20... took about 5 hours :S lol. decided to start ma team.

first off i started 2x soldiers to get used to dual side of things.. omg was it confusing... kept wanting to do everything like WoW. targeting was main bummer to begin with.. kept trying to use the in built /assist crap but really not worth it. Tab target mostly directs you to same thing ( game is soloable so who cares if 1 attacks a different target )

now i started 4x MP > at moment i have only damage pets... ( only level 6 ) but when i hit up with the healing pets watch out. ) only problem i think would focus target healing.....

need to get all players targeting friendly ( sounds way easyer than it is ) and gettin them all to heal same guy... ergh....



ive got around your 'train follow'... my guys run around looking like WoW all on top of each other :P lol.

what i do is;

Quickbar 2

Follower 1: Slot 2, /follow

Follower 2: slot 3, /follow

keep doing for as many chars you have.. so slot 4 slot 5 etc, then i just do F2... slot 2.... F3.....slot 3.... etc etc... faster than it sounds... plus follow is hard to break, it stays on unless you move the char manually at all. so u can do all your attacks.. spells and stuff

if you dont understand any of this OR have better ways of following please reply :P

EDIT: OOOO and i heard from a Bug Hunter on Test Server that new graphics Should be updated in a few months... so hopefully that will bring life back to AO and hopefully some Boxers

Yeah the train /follow thing was because my key broadcaster was breaking the follow for some reason even though the arrow keys weren't on the white list.

Korruptor, when you tell a pet to 'Guard' somthing it attacks what it attacks yes?, just thinking for ease would you tell all your pets to guard your main pet and then u can just click things and tell your main to attack then all you alt pets will fight?

is this correct or have i got the guard function all messed up? :P hehe.

now thinking 4x soldier rather than engi... pets are crazy! they run all over the place :P lol

Unfortunately no, /pet guard only defaults to guarding the owner of the pet and will auto engage anything hostile nearby.

Yeah pet pathing has always been an issue, seems a bit more so in AO then some others.

Pet AI didn't seem so bad when I played...you wanna see bad pathing, play either Shattered Galaxy(PC) or Heroes of Mana(Nintendo DS)...the latter will make you honestly, seriously wonder if a retarded jar of mayonnaise did the pathing programming, and again, I'm not fucking kidding, it was THAT bad lol

I'll give AO a shot eventually...I do still have my old install I think but I've got so many things to keep up with as it is and so little time to play I haven't gotten around to it yet =\

just got my first bit of abuse on AO, standing outside Rome Basic store as you do when a lvl 220 Engi comes up to me and says im abuseing froobs accounts and that i would be overpowerd and have unfair advatage.

i just ignored him and then suddenly everyone started goin at me like just becasue 1 person does not like it.. people were being nice to me before engi came along as soon as he sed summit i was the bad guy :S

has any others got any abuse yet?
