Whenever you mine one of them there's a chance of spawning a hostile one which holds 10 Felstate and is lootable by each of your toons (so 50 Felslate for me). They have an instant respawn so I just kept mowing them down for about 30 minutes or so. Got maybe 1-2K Felstone. Once you turn in the WQ though... they're gone.
