question about your mice

I bought a wireless keyboard/mouse combo that was really cheap and I think I got what I payed for:

they keyboard works fairly fine but if I plugin the mouse and sync it up its really jumpy and I think it picking up other signals b/c it will click and move around by its self.

I really would like to get a wireless mouse working for looting and AoE ect but dont want to end up in the same boat. Looked at best buy and other places and all I see is the one with the recivers pluging in to the usb port do those work well? Thanks all

Check the distance. Are there things in the way? Try it with them VERY CLOSE. Does it work better? Worse?
