They mentioned it will be on the PTR as soon as Blizcon is over. We'll be able to find out just how much its going to cost, I'm guessing its outrageous like 15,000 order resources a level.

Yeah, Ion was definitely the star of the show with how much content they're giving everyone... I'd say it was quite impressive. And the fact that we're going to an entirely different planet for 7.3? I like it. I just hope it's not some super cut-down and instanced off area of an entire planet. It's unrealistic to expect 5-6 large land masses like Azeroth currently has, but it had better be pretty big to keep people busy. Maybe they'll push 7.3.5 or 7.4 out in that area, or maybe it's the beginning of the next expansion which will then open up the rest of the planet.

I would guess that they'd just keep it at, or around, 500 resources. I think a high cost like you're suggesting would kind of defeat the purpose of anyone being able to catch up at any reasonable pace. I mean... 15,000 resources is the same amount needed for the very final tier of your order hall upgrades. If that was the catch-up cost of AK, then you might as well just wait the 3-day period to research it like normal because it's probably more tedious, if even possible, to try and repeatedly farm 15,000 resources in < 72 hours.

EDIT: A quick estimate of an emissary cache worth 750 resources (it varies), and maybe 15 WQs each day worth an average of 500 resources per (pretty sure that's on the high side since most are worth 350-450), comes to a total of 8,250 which is barely halfway there. If you get lucky there's the weekly worth 5,000, but that isn't something anyone can rely on, and it's only a one-time thing every 4+ weeks.
