    Get the addon "Questhelper"

I used to hate questing, but this addon helped so freaking much I actually like questing now. It updates your map and shows you where all your quest objectives are, it even plots an efficient path for you to follow to get your quests done efficiently.

Sadly, I've noticed a number of quests that QuestHelper doesn't have information on. Still, it's vastly more useful then just going blind most of the time but I frequently find myself going to one of the many WoW fan sites that has quest information for more info on some quests.

I might try one of those leveling guides, as I must admit, the collection quests SUCK when you multi-box. I feel like I'm spending most if not all my time just hunting down for that last stupid Do-Hicky that was part of some rather silly quest but the reward was nice in the end, so I justify it in my brain.

But honestly, I'm questing blind since I've never played that much wow before I started multi-boxing. So I don't know where the optimal quests are. I hate to jump around too much to find the 'right' quests but I'll do it if turns out to be optimal to do so.

Audio books also work nicely if you're doing a particularly long collection quest for some ungodly reason.

Half the fun for me is making them efficient...I exercise my mind as much as I do my fingers when playing lol; granted, I do have 3 years' worth of playing and a photographic memory so I know where everything spawns right down to how many there are in some cases =x

So I can sit there, look at what quests I have, what their objectives are, and plot a perfecet round-trip of the zone to maximize the efficiency of the run, not heading back until either all the quests I can stand are done or my bags're full and I gotta sell so I keep my money up for later training. I have used wowhead in the past on quests I hadn't done or didn't seem to be getting the drops for but for the most part, Blizz is pretty straightforward in till you where to go and what to kill and even how to kill in some cases lol

Well, my elemental shamans are level 50 now.

I leveled from 48-49 through questing. It took me a good 3 hours in hinterlands. Which is a pretty quest friendly zone for horde multiboxers. (and another hour worth of traveling/slacking which I wont count).

Then I powerleveled my four alts in lbrs with my main (Enhancement shaman, so no AoE, epic gear and 1200 dps tho.) and it took me 90 minutes to get to 50, without the traveling/slacking time.

So, even without AoE, it seems instance grinding is about twice as fast then questing. Oo

The problem is, I can never keep grinding for more then like 2 hours myself before getting totally demoralized and just slack/do other stuff instead. But if you can bring it up to do some massive grinding, instances is probably the way to go. Boost them or have them get boosted. (I sometimes get a friend to boost my chars for me a run or two, it's quite laid back and since you're not alone also more fun!)

I am all OCD about organizing my quests (while leveling) and dailies now that i am 70, so just timing myself and seeing how i can improve the process is part of the fun for me and takes a bit of the pressure off watching the drop count slowly go up accross 5 screens.

For collection quests - i only do them if they unlock a nice long chain; or if they are going to be dropping off beasties i am already planning on killing; then i just pop in a movie or watch scrubs, or listen to some good 'ol NiN or Marilyn Manson and of course try and blow up any gnomes that cross your path.

I used James guides and ordered them for a full group and added some instances, I put my notes on
    http://www.wow-pro.com/leveling_guid...eling_guide_35

    Disadvantages of solo guides:
    - no instances
    - requires you to have a higher level: you can do quests with a good exp rate +/- 6 level of your own level
    - elite quests not included
