Question Disc / Demonology / Frost Mage [x3]

Hey all, I'm running the above comp. Last night I stepped into Eye of Azshara by mistake, but ended up running with it anyways. My team is boosted, level 101 with an item level under 695. I've a couple questions...

I was able to down Warlord Parjesh, Lady Hate Coil and King Deepbeard. I wiped a few times on Serpentrix and called it quits before trying Wrath of Azshara.

My biggest question is... formations. Can anyone explain formations and how to set them up to me like I'm five? I feel like I could have easily downed Serpentrix and had less issues on Deepbeard if my formation wasn't a train of toons running away from ground AOE. I basically just have everyone follow my main screen with a /follow macro. I need to improve on this method but I'm not really sure how.

I'm running ISboxer, Jamba, and GSE.

    Thanks.

    formations is not magical.
it's just a mapped key, usually with a few steps, that you press to move characters. using it during fights might lead to you having toons all over the place, not sure I'd want that.
When I played 4 ranged and a tank, I used to stack all ranged and just move them when something was on the ground (using arrow keys to "move others"). if there was something that made one of them go boom, i'd usually just soak it like a boss

I use a foot pedal to move my slaves. Still mostly in the same boat you're in though. That particular boss (if I remember correctly) puts the big poison circle under everyone, so you all have to move anyways, might as well be on follow.

I'm impressed you did so well without a tank.

Awesome, what's the foot pedal bring to the table? Will you please explain how you utilize one and maybe link to one you like? It never even occurred to me to incorporate a foot pedal.

Thanks for the words of encouragement.

    I use the Stinkyboard.

I purchased that after advice from forum posts here from years ago, probably be tough to find now. If I remember correctly it was a review from MiRai.

I use wsqe keys to move my master, and shift-wsqe keys to move my slaves. I set the stinkyboard to send shift-wsqe so with isBoxer it controls my slaves only. The beauty is when I play solo without isBoxer it moves my main without making any changes.

I turn mine sideways and use both feet on one, seems too awkward setting my entire foot on it. Using one for each foot would probably take a lot of getting used to.

What pet did you have tanking?

For me S is move backwards in the keybindings, Q is set to move in a diff direction on each toon.. A & D are set to strafe left and right.

I tank the trash with my doomguard and the bosses with the void walker.
