I am glad they are doing the patch so early.. gives us lots of time to set up new macro/isboxer stuff for the new ability system.

They say using the new system which is a scale of 1-10, the old system with low setting was a 3. So we should be able to have improved performance or even more toons if our slaves are on 1.

I'm probably not making much sense as I couldn't figure out how to explain it.

Interesting point. However, I would point out that this does not appear to mean that there is a new, even lower "bottom" to minimum settings, but rather that the presets simply give you an option to go a bit lower than before. What I mean by this, is that if you are already using settings lower than the current minimum preset (low) through console variables then it is likely that there is no change. If you are just using the presets, then yeah, using the new lowest preset might improve your performance.

Still, you never know what kind of settings are baked in to the preset, so I'm interesting trying this out to see if there is a difference in inclusion to my console tweaks.

Well so far so good for me. A few hickups with my setup and feeling the performance bump, but nothing I wasn't expecting.

However I wish to point out that Cataclysm 25HC has been nerfed for gold. I just did a quick FL run and I was getting 66-72g per boss per toon. So nearly half less than before. Still an OK emergency farming method, but less appealing now naturally.

I was expecting it to go eventually, and guess this patch makes sense just as much as any other time.

*EDIT*

An exception appears to be Omnitron Defense System... It still dropped the usual 125g per toon. Perhaps because the loot is also on 2 different mobs?
