People just don't care to run the harder versions of the raid if they got what they needed from LFR which enhanced the lack of content argument.
The real problem is that most of us don't want to raid. You can make an MMO that doesn't focus on coordination between 20 people. Smaller numbers means less hassle even though it's an MMO. The direction of most raid encounters utilizes 20 individual players in coordination with one another versus 4 smaller parties coordinating as parties throughout an encounter.
To me the latter makes more sense but there are few instances of this type of raid in WoW. What the WoW team doesn't seem to understand is that it is a real drag having to coordinate with 19 other people on the hardest content in the game. People not showing up, being burnt out to arguments on strategy, emotions getting in the way of a good time all add up to a very unpleasing experience raiding. It feels less like fun and more like a job.
So naturally we don't want to do it.
