Default Second Hand Boxing Rig, possibly.

A friend approached me recently about building him a budget rig capable of running 10-15 wow accounts. After doing a little looking on eBay at second hand parts, I'm pretty sure the project will be moving forward. Just wanted to gauge the interest here, see what you guys think. If you have suggestions, I'm all ears. I think it can work, and I think second hand (Sandy Bridge for example) is likely to give more oomph than say an AMD system at comparable, or lower price.

Sandy Bridge? Like... a 2600K Sandy Bridge? I don't think you're going to be 10-15 boxing on a 2600K/2700K CPU unless you're playing at a lower-than-1080 resolution with bare minimum settings. If we're talking about a Sandy Bridge-E CPU, then that's more likely going to handle that.

    Yeah, it's E.

I've found something quite interesting recently through a Network IT friend, considering the price I'm going to give it a try and see how it goes. If it doesn't work, new super NAS for me. If it does, then solid boxing rig for my buddy.
