Sound Loss

Ok I am done sitting here trying to figure it out.

For the longest time, my default sound will DIE when I Box. Out of no wear it will stop working. I have to change direct sound output to a different card until I restart my computer.
I check the drivers and it's says work properly, but it does not work until I restart.

I have a Sound Blaster. But this happened to me on a USB headset befor this one.

Any tips?

This is a problem one of my guildies has suffered since 2.3 hit the presses.

Check the Event Viewer and see if anything is being logged? (right click my computer -> manage -> system tools -> event viewer, IIRC)
