Default Paladin & Shaman team at 80

Hit 80 today. Mostly dungeon runs 70-80. I did a bit of questing around Borean Tundra. Around 77-79 I kept getting Halls of Stone, so I did a few Culling of Stratholme and Halls of Lightning runs.

Total time played: 2 days, 7 hours, 24 minutes, 38 seconds

Any level ranges so far that have been horribly boring for leveling up? Was that what you meant by having to quest in Borean Tundra?

I did a bit of questing in Borean Tundra just because most of them are really easy to do, not that I had to.

70-80 was pretty easy and smooth. Probably because it's through my favorite expansion. I'm dreading 80-85 because Cataclysm quests are so linear it's hard to skip around, plus I think the dungeon difficulty will be a lot higher. I'm actually entering territory where I've never boxed before.

Welcome to the level range that is going to make you want to tear your eyes out of their sockets.... also known as Cataclysm without RaF. A word of advice... depending on your skill level and your current setup, you may want to avoid Throne of Tides until level 82 at the earliest (as well as the bonus boss). It may be easier for you since the majority of your team is ranged, but... I'm just sayin'.

My biggest complaint was that you could do heroics to level until 70, then Blizzard was like, "NOPE. Must be max level for heroics, nub." Made about as much sense as "NOPE. I mean, we know you're all ~680ish iLevel but you still need a tank, 3 DPS and a healer to queue here. Yeah, well, we're owned by Activision...also, Ghostcrawler. Whaddyawant?"

When I did bear druid, x3 hunters & disc Priest I was only in looms with no raf.. I did some of the Mount Hyjal quests, I did Blackrock Caverns, Throne of the tides - which was actually very easy from all my past attempts on other teams, (the looms made it seem nerfed) & Vortex Pinnicle (all in the level range of dungeon finder & only once each) then a little bit of Deepholme with 1 run of The Stonecore... moving on to the ring of blood in Twillight Higlands asap by flying over from Wetlands.. with one run of Grim Batol (without using the Drakes) just turn up there.... you'll be 85 np..

For me I hate Pandaria - yeah you can dungeon it over and over, but for me it was pretty fast doing a huge chunk of Jade forest, the first 2 or 3 dungeons for the quests, folowed by a jump to Kun Lai Summit for a few quests.

If you want fast 90-100 (2-3 hours) do 90-92 in Shadowmoon using a garrison xp potion, and collecting treasures... kill a few rares (handy notes with handy notes Draenor tresures addon is fab) & doing bonus objectives.. then move on to Gorgrond.. open up the first outpost (I chose sparring arena), do all the kill quests like Biolante (8 in total), but don't hand them in.. do each bonus objective (8 in total) leaving 1 thing undone for each one.. a mob or an item use.. then if you can afford buy x2 Elixir of the Rapid Mind per toon (2k each on my server), take x1 with a garry xp pot... then hand in those x8 quests, and go round each bonus objective completing it - the xp is insane. You may need more potions if you don't have Draenor flying.. but it is still worth doing.

Repeat this for Talador.. open up the outpost for Artillery strike, do the x3 quests.. then the x3 kill quests only, doing the bonus objectives (5 here), but not quite finishing them - pop the elixir and garry pot and bam you should be level 100.. no dungeons needed!

If you need garrison resources to open up the level 3 garry you can buy Huge Ogre Chest from the ah.. (if you have the gold that is).

Did this for a few of my solo 100's this week and with a boxing team it would be even faster killing.
