Or switch out for the i7-5820 witch is like 200 more with most of the same components?

I box 3 on WoW and 5 on EQ1, 1 on Rift...

I don't know how much of a resource hog EQ1 is, and I don't have any experience with AMD CPUs, but I would guess that either route should be fine. However, the 5820 is newer (and better) technology, and will allow for more headroom.
