Thread: Level 90 boost

    Default Level 90 boost

So i boosted my dungeon team after they hit about level 63 ish, put professions on them, dinged them up a d lo and behold they are trapped in the WoD start zone!! 2 hours of questing now to get them out of there so they can boost levels and power level my other toons i want to boost. And to boot they pulled all but 4 spells in all my toons! They slowly get unlocked throughout the questing area. Super annoying! 😡

Yeah, that part was quite annoying when I did mine as well. I did the level 100 boost on my rogue here a week or so ago and she didn't have to go through that; ended up in garrison and basically ready to start farming Tanaan Jungle.

When you do the boost, fly back to the nearest friendly city and visit your class trainer. Respec your character and you'll get access to all of your spells.

Another trick is to queue up for a scenario. As soon as you enter you'll receive all your spells and abilities and you can hop out again and continue on your merry way.

Ahh well i did quest through and complete the area though. I tried to queue for dungeons but couldn't. Said i was ineligible. The real pain in the ass i find is how garrisons seperate your team. Probably who we havent seen the 40 boxer on twitch. I find it a pain with 5, let alone 40 lol

Couple of quick points on 5 mans in Garrison, 2 things I do which helps ever so slightly.

Firstly, when questing in the starting area (Shadowmoon valley) there are a number or quests that come from the Garrison and require handing in back there too. Once all toons have handed in, get each toon to right click their portrait and "visit leaders garrison" this then gets them all together outside the front of the Garriosn phased together and saves having to run them all out separately.

Secondly, if you use Jamba make sure when flying anywhere to have flight window open on all screens and "taxi" still works sending all toons to the same flight point, even if in their own Garrison.

Neither of the above will save you 100's of hours but make life a tiny bit easier.

You know Jim, that's been my biggest headache. Remembering that I need to click the portrait of the character I want to view my leaders garrison. I keep trying to click the leaders portrait to choose the option to view his garrison, because that seems the most intuitive way to do it and then I remember and feel stupid.
