It's a Giant Squid Omnidirectional mic which I had read (when doing my original research, across numerous forums) was a fantastic entry-level lavalier mic for $40 (it's also handmade). However, I've been considering moving to a Tram TR50, and I think I will before the end of the year (reference videos for the Tram (One / Two)).
